How We Work With Installers

1 What to Expect When Working with AMICO

AMICO typically provides panels cut, drilled, finished, and ready to install with attachment system to the job site. AMICO projects are built-to-order; we do not stock materials, which means the earlier we can be involved in the project, the better.

2 It’s Time to Bid, How Do You Get a Quote?

Click on the connect link above to start a quote. Please provide as much information as possible, but we understand if you don’t have all the information. Typically, to execute a quote, the minimum information we would need is:

  • PDF elevations of the design with a clear indication of where AMICO materials are being applied
  • A specification for the finish,
  • The AMICO material you are using
  • And a due date for the project

3 Developing Shop Drawings

AMICO provides shop drawings for projects and can ensure that the attachment method is appropriate with our extensive experience and third-party engineering drawing stamps. Shop drawings begin after the initial deposit is paid. Your critical role is ensuring the PO and deposit happen in a timely manner, and you sign off on drawings & provide as-built dimensions when needed.

4 How to Ensure an Efficient Timeline

Typical projects take 90 days from the time of PO to delivery to the job site. This allows time for shop drawings, revisions, and manufacturing. The four most significant contributors to the timeline success are:

  • Complete credit apps
  • Timely PO placement
  • Prompt sign-offs on shop drawings
  • As-built dimensions

If these four areas are quickly addressed, timeline success is very probable. Click here to download a credit app and begin filling it out.

5 Mockups

AMICO can work with you early in the development process to build mockups.  We typically try to absorb as much of the cost as possible, but fees typically accompany any mockup project.
