Gradient Expanded Mesh
AMICO expanded mesh can create custom gradient meshes by varying the strand width during manufacturing.
This custom mesh produces a pattern where the hole is the same from row to row, but the strand becomes thicker or thinner (see diagram below to understand the definition of strand width).
Benefits of this mesh feature:
- It can obscure visual sight lines in key areas while opening up more to increase airflow where sight lines are not as important.

- It can reduce access openings at the pedestrian level and increase openings to reduce material costs where pedestrian access is not possible.
